Pamela joined the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) as an Office Technician in May of 2014. In July of 2017, she was promoted to Staff Services Analyst and her duties expanded to include supporting the executive director, deputy director, and CBSC commissioners. In August 2024, she was promoted to Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA). In addition to her continuing support of CBSC leadership and the commissioners, Pamela’s duties include travel budget analysis, travel coordination, and managing and contributing to the CBSC policy and procedure manual.

Pamela has been with the State of California and CBSC for over ten years. Prior to that, she held a variety of administrative positions in the private sector. She worked for Hewlett-Packard in Roseville for sixteen years, where she participated in collections, development of internal policy and procedure manuals, employee mentoring and training, and was responsible for facilitating employee meetings and events. As a collections analyst, she assisted customers with reconciliation and negotiation of past due invoices, and established innovative methods to streamline processes. Pamela also participated in customer site visits for clients such as the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, and the County of Sacramento Municipal Services Agency.

Pamela serves in many capacities at her local church and in her community, and has held many leadership roles such as boundary committee member. While her children were growing up, she also participated in their schools’ parent organizations.

Born and raised in Santa Clara, Pamela moved to the Sacramento area in 1982. She has two adult children who also live in Sacramento, and it is a blessing to have them close by. She loves helping others and serving the community at different events.
