Tim Freeman
Associate Architect
Tim Freeman joined the CBSC team in February of 2024 as an Associate Architect. In this role, he participates in research and development of proposed building standards including updating EV charging and bicycle parking regulations in the California Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen, Part 11 of Title 24).
Tim came to CBSC with over 24 years of experience in residential and commercial design and documentation. He has worked for private sector architectural firms as well as practicing independently. Tim studied Engineering Support Technology at Sierra College in Rocklin, California. He obtained licensure as an architect in 2020, and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009.
Born in Sacramento, Tim spent much of his childhood traveling the country with his military parents. He’s spent his adult life back in the Sacramento area, enjoying the blessings of the natural world. He has one adult son and volunteers in youth leadership organizations as well as other community outreach programs.
