Timothy O'Malley

Timothy joined the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) in May 2018 as an Architectural Associate. He began his employment with the state in 2011, working for the Department of General Services and Caltrans. Prior to his recruitment by the state, he had over 16 years of private sector experience in architecture, construction, design and fabrication. His education includes Associate of Science degrees in construction management and architectural drafting.

At CBSC, Timothy provides technical support to the commission by incorporating and coordinating the latest changes to current building codes. He is always eager to learn more about the intricate processes of developing regulations and California building standards law.
