Commissioner Stockwell recently took the position of international representative with United Association in Maryland. Mr. Stockwell joined the United Association, which represents the plumbing and pipefitting industry across North America and Canada, in 1990. Formerly, he was executive director of the California State Pipe Trades Council, which represents more than 35,000 plumbers and pipefitters at local unions throughout the state of California.
He is a member of UA Local 447 in Sacramento and served as vice president, organizer, business agent, business manager/financial secretary, and healthcare and pension trust funds trustee.
