There will be a screening on Friday, March 1st from 11 AM-1:15 PM of Crip Camp, an Oscar-nominated documentary on the disability rights movement. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the film’s directors, legendary activists Jim LeBrecht and Nicole Newnham.

Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan is partnering with Disability Rights California to have a conversation about disability rights issues, learn the history of the disability rights movement, and create a space to engage with accessibility policy in the Capitol and beyond.
