The Business Owners & Operators Guide to Accessible Parking. 2025 Webinar Collaboration Series.

This year’s 2025 Collaboration Webinar Series, co-hosted by CCDA and the Pacific ADA Center, will consist of two Lunch & Learns!

Join us on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 12 to 1 p.m. for our first Lunch & Learn webinar of 2025! This webinar will focus on CCDA’s Accessible Guide to Parking for Business Owners and Operators, a toolkit that promotes awareness, summarizes requirements, and offers resources to help avoid those complaints involving issues with accessible parking and accessible routes. At the conclusion of the webinar, CCDA Executive Director April Dawson-Rawlings and Pacific ADA Center Executive Director Jan Garrett will be presenting and respond to a live Q&A session.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that businesses need to provide access to goods and services for individuals with disabilities. Non-compliance may result in costly lawsuits, so it is important for business owners and operators to be aware of their responsibilities. This webinar will be an educational opportunity for business owners and operators to learn more about accessibility parking compliance.

It is important to remember that while this toolkit offers valuable information, it does not replace a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) evaluation or legal advice. The webinar will discuss the role of a CASp, who inspect facilities for compliance with accessibility standards and issue Disability Access Inspection Certificates.
