Main Printing Plant is Moving

Office of State Publishing is Moving.

After more than 60 years in the aging printing plant on Richards Boulevard, the Office of State Publishing will finally embark on a move to a new facility in West Sacramento this year. The move constitutes a much-needed facility and equipment upgrade and will allow continued expansion of the new Electronic Document Management System, meaning less physical space will be necessary to store documents for state agencies and departments at the State Records Center. At the same time, OSP will greatly reduce the physical space it occupies; going from the 323,000-square foot Richards Boulevard plant to the new 128,000-square foot West Sacramento location.

OSP's plant since 1954, has produced countless voter information guides, legislative bills and other government forms and publications. Here’s to many more years of successful printing in the new plant!
