State Contracting & Certification Workshop for Small Business

Attend this free event on Wednesday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to noon to certify your business with the state of California.  

Explore the benefits of being a certified small or disabled veteran business.  Learn how to navigate the certification landscape and understand its benefits. Get Small Business (SB) or DVBE certified and take your business to the next level.  

You must bring (if applicable): 

• Personal laptop or tablet with internet accessibility
• Applicant and affiliate federal tax returns for the past three (3) years
• Applicant and Affiliate Quarterly Wage and Withholding Report (DE 9C)
• Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN)
• Social Security Number (SSN), if you are a sole proprietor
• Home address of owners, officers, partners, etc.
• Secretary of State Number (if applicable)
• Contractors State License Board Number (if applicable)
