Building and Maintenance

The state is committed to meeting the goals established in the Green Building Action Plan (Executive Order B-18-12). Implementation directs agencies to improve building operation efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and seek opportunities to conserve natural resources. The state has established leverage procurement agreements offering building and maintenance products with postconsumer recycled content, high energy efficiency, and low concentrations of volatile organic compounds.
