State Completes Renovation of Historic Library & Courts Building

Representatives of the California Department of General Services will announce completion of major renovation work at the historic Stanley Mosk Library and Courts Building.

WHAT: News media tour of recently renovated Stanley Mosk Library and Courts Building.

WHEN/WHERE: Stanley Mosk Library & Courts Building: 11 a.m., April 5 at 914 Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA. Meet outside main entrance to begin tour. Due to tenant requirements, DGS will give this tour only once to interested news media.

SUMMARY: Representatives of the California Department of General Services will announce completion of major renovation work at the historic Stanley Mosk Library and Courts Building. A building tour will feature many of the floor-to-ceiling renovation features completed on the circa 1928 structure including upgrades to accessibility, fire and life safety systems, security systems, electrical and plumbing systems, along with restoration of historical features including ceilings, lights, elevators and public art.
