State Hosts Zero-Emission Vehicle Event

The California Department of General Services (DGS), along with the Governor’s Office, will host a Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) event to showcase electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles currently available on state contract.

WHAT:                      The California Department of General Services (DGS), along with the Governor’s Office, will host a Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) event to showcase electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles currently available on state contract.

WHEN/WHERE:     State Capitol, West Steps: 10 a.m., April 29, 2013

SUMMARY:             The event will showcase electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles currently available on statewide contract. The emerging technology section of the event will feature hydrogen fuel cell vehicles from the California Air Resources Board. Vehicles will be on display onsite and ride-and-drives will be available with some vehicles. Electric vehicle charging stations will also be on display for demonstration.  .
