The Department of State Hospitals identified a 30+ acre site on the corner of Musselman Drive and El Camino Real adjacent to the Atascadero State Hospital in the City of Atascadero, County of San Luis Obispo, for the development of affordable housing. The first phase of the site was awarded and is approximately 2.5 acres.
Project MILESTONES
Project CEQA Notice of Exemption (NOE) was approved and filed on July 17, 2023. The developer has applied for affordable housing financing from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and local sources.
