Under Executive Order N-06-19
Location: Clearlake, CA
The state exchanged the former Lakeport Armory with Lake County for approximately 15 acres of Lake County vacant land. Approximately 8.2 acres of the land will be developed for an affordable housing project, located on the corner of 18th Avenue and the Dam Road Extension. The site is located near pre-existing neighborhoods, the community’s largest shopping center, a hospital and Woodland Community College.
Project Milestones
The site was awarded to Chelsea Investment Corporation.
The 8.2 acre site will facilitate the construction of 80 affordable housing units with restricted Average Median Incomes as follows:
AMIs (80 units)
- 30% AMI – 12 units
- 40% AMI – 16 units
- 50% AMI – 40 units
- 60% AMI – 11 units
- 1 manager unit
The estimated start date of construction is December 2025.
