The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation identified a site approximately +/- .45 acres located at 233 N Second Ave in the City of Covina, County of Los Angeles for the development of affordable housing.
The site will be developed in one phase to provide a total of 60 income restricted affordable housing units.
Project Milestones
Laing Companies and Valued Housing was selected to develop the site. The site will be developed in one phase to provide 60 affordable housing units with the following Average Median Income restrictions:
- 15 Units with an Average Median Income restriction of 30%
- 12 Units with an Average Median Income restriction of 40%
- 32 Units with an Average Median Income restriction of 60 – 80%
- 1 Manager Unit Construction Start Date TBD
