Location: San Francisco, CA
The Department of Motor Vehicles identified an opportunity for the redevelopment of an existing San Francisco DMV Field Office site into a multi-use transit-friendly complex with affordable housing and a new DMV Field Office. The current DMV site was constructed in 1960.
After this transformation, the complex is expected to include approximately 372 housing units with a range of affordability levels located in the city center near amenities and transportation.
Project Milestones
Phase I: Expected construction commencement June 1, 2027. This phase includes the DMV Field Office and 126 affordable housing units at 30% to 80% AMI.
Phase II: Expected construction commencement September 1, 2030. This phase consists of 128 affordable housing units at 30% to 80% AMI.
Phase III: Expected construction commencement September 1, 2031. This phase consists of 118 affordable housing units at 30% to 80% AMI.
