Access State Real Property Information
About this Service
The SPI unit maintains a consolidated inventory of state property to assist state departments to make informed decisions about property, including the possible sale of surplus state property. The SPI services are also available to the public and other agencies to search property using the SPI portal and geographically locate the data using the SPI mapping tool.
Information Tools and Resources
- The general public is not required to register through the SPI database to access services.
- State Agencies can apply for a log in by clicking on “Request Agency login” on the SPI real property and lease data website page (portal).

The SPI websites are available 24 hours a day, although technical assistance is only available Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Please send requests for assistance to SPIweb@dgs.ca.gov or if you have questions regarding the SPI Map Service please contact SPIGIS@dgs.ca.gov. A response can be expected within 5 business days.
