pre cycle activity for 2021
During the pre-cycle period, which continued through Spring 2021, proposing state agencies hold public workshops to discuss possible amendments for the 2022 Code. The 2022 Code will be published on July 1, 2022 and will go into effect on January 1, 2023. Workshops provided an open forum for the public and industry stakeholders to participate in vetting potential modifications to California's building codes.
