INTRODUCTION - 4985

Purpose of this policy is to ensure access to state assets including telecommunications system and services are safe, secure, and cost effective as defined in Government Code (GC) 11541 and GC 11549.3.

Pursuant to GC 11541 (d), California Department of Technology, Office of Technology Services has authority and responsibility of developing and implementing business telecommunications systems and services.

For purposes of this section, business telecommunications systems and services are defined in GC Section 11532(c).
