Amendments & GenAI Procurement Requirements - 2305.4

Contract amendments must include the required contract language from section 2305.1. 

Prior to executing amendments:

1. Contractors must complete and return the GenAI Reporting and Factsheet Form (STD 1000). 
2. When contractors report use of GenAI, follow section 2302 of this chapter to engage the department Chief Information Officer (CIO) to complete a risk assessment and possible consultation with the California Department of Technology (CDT).
3. Any contract that received a GenAI CDT consultation and requires an amendment must be re-evaluated.
